Anticipatory entrance, impressive planting space
The Belgian Pavilion is dedicated to the future of healthcare, with themes such as “Saving Lives.” As you pass through the entrance, you will find a calm planting space with lots of greenery, a composition that naturally heightens your anticipation for the upcoming exhibitions.

The museum is “sparkling”, but the explanation doesn’t come into it…
The museum’s exhibits are mainly stylishly staged, with light shining through dark spaces. Although visually impressive, there are almost no visual explanations, only small text panels, so it is difficult to grasp what the exhibits are trying to convey. The impression tends to be, “At any rate, it looks stylish…but I didn’t really understand what it was about.

Cartoons to be handed out for children, to aid in the exhibition?
There are booths along the way where cartoons for children are distributed, and one can sense that they are trying to make the contents of the exhibition as easy to understand as possible. However, whether or not there is room to read the cartoons may depend on the person.

The last theater is somewhat lacking.
The projection mapping theater performance at the end of the film is short and only shows abstract images. Many visitors may feel that there could have been a more worthwhile story or theme. My impression is that the exhibition structure is “image-driven,” and it is not a pavilion where visitors can learn in depth.

Also check the crowd and food information.
The Belgian Pavilion is popular for its photogenic appearance, so there may be a wait depending on the time of day. The café, Belgian waffles, and beer are also popular, making it a good place to stop by for a gourmet meal.

Summary|Okay if you are interested in “looks”, but not enough for those who want to deepen their understanding.
The design and atmosphere are definitely top class. However, if you are looking for a better presentation of the contents or a deeper learning experience, you may find it a bit disappointing. It is best to visit with the attitude of “quietly enjoying the cool space” in between visits to the pavilions.
