Food menu introduction (*Prices and details as of the time of the visit)
The most distinctive feature of the Italian Pavilion restaurant is that visitors can enjoy “local cuisine from various regions of Italy” on a weekly basis. The week we visited was themed on Sicily. Authentic menus utilizing Sicilian ingredients and traditional recipes were served.

- Sicilian Pasta (weekly special) Unusual shape of short pasta with tomato-based sauce. Accented with olives and capers.
- Grilled Seasonal Vegetables The most impressive dish of the order. Perfectly grilled, salted and savory. Simple yet profound flavor.
- Margherita Pizza A solid Neapolitan style with a good balance of cheese and tomatoes. A safe taste that can be enjoyed by all.
- Fish dish (today’s recommendation) Carefully cooked white fish, simply prepared with sauce and vegetables. Delicious but with few surprises.

High standard of food and atmosphere. But the “Expo only” feeling may be a little weak.
The restaurant in the Italian Pavilion is calmly decorated and has a high degree of perfection as a so-called “fashionable restaurant. The food is also generally good, and can be enjoyed with confidence.
However, the fact that there is a branch in Tokyo, and the fact that the food itself is not as special as “only available locally! and the fact that the food itself is not as special as “you can only eat it locally!
However, the grilled seasonal vegetables were truly exceptional and of impressive quality. The heat, the saltiness, the aroma…everything was calculated to such a degree that I felt it was worth coming just for this.
In addition, since the theme changes from week to week, there is a great possibility that you will find different attractions if you revisit the exhibition.
Summary|Satisfying enough as an “authentic” restaurant. If you are looking for excitement, “Grilled Vegetables” is the place to go.
The restaurant in the Italian Pavilion has an overall stable finish. Considering the price range and content, satisfaction is never low.
The “grilled vegetables” in particular were outstanding, and we strongly recommend this corner to vegetable lovers. Including the local dishes that change weekly, new discoveries can be expected even on the second or third visit.
