A quiet Nordic oasis in an out-of-the-way place
The Nordic Circle Restaurant is located at a separate entrance from the pavilion, making it a bit difficult to find.
This makes it relatively easy to enter even on days when the entire Expo is crowded, and it is a popular spot with short wait times.
You can enjoy a stylish Scandinavian design space and a light meal menu centered on breads and sweets. The interior is designed for outdoor use, so it is better to visit on a sunny day.
Taste is good, but the volume is small. Scandinavian style “light and satisfying.”
The dishes are all carefully prepared and taste elegant. In particular, the combination of blue cheese and raspberry jam leaves a strong Scandinavian impression.
However, the portions are modest and not the type to fill you up with just one dish, so it is suitable for light meals or café use.
Summary|Cafes where you can enjoy a “special time” without the crowds
Bread and meatballs, jam and cheese, cinnamon and Moomin. Nordic Circle is a “hands-on café” where you can enjoy both the food and the space.
It is recommended to visit as a place to “savor time” rather than a place to eat.
