As soon as you enter, you’ll see a mysterious old man + desert corridor.

At the beginning of the Tunisian Pavilion, an image of a mysterious “grandfather” appears on a huge screen. The intention of the image is somewhat difficult to grasp, and the atmosphere in the hall tends to be a bit quiet. What follows is a corridor that resembles the Sahara Desert. The corridor is decorated with sand-like textures and decorations, but the modeling and lighting are rather cheap, and the sense of immersion is a bit lacking.

Modest exhibits, minimal cultural introduction

At the end of the passageway, a small number of traditional Tunisian textiles and objects are on display. However, the exhibits are very simple and do not provide enough information to experience the depth of Tunisian culture. As a whole, the exhibit is limited to a “light feel of the atmosphere”.

Star Wars in a Hidden Hole? And a name carving experience

There is a “secret hole” in the middle of the museum where small exhibits related to the “Star Wars” filming locations are hidden (it depends on your luck whether you can find them or not). In addition, there is a souvenir area near the exit where visitors can have their names engraved on a metal plate if they wish. As a touristy souvenir presentation, this is quite a unique attempt.

Summary|As a slightly different side trip, it is possible.

The overall structure of the pavilion is frankly low in terms of the quality of the images and the richness of the exhibits, but there are a few oddities such as a “hidden Star Wars element” and a “name carving experience. However, there are a few oddities such as a “hidden element of Star Wars” and a “name carving experience.” If you have time to spare, you may enjoy stopping by this pavilion as a “tour of unusual spots.
