There is learning from the entrance! Impressed by the power of the Petra ruins

The Jordan Pavilion, one of the most popular of the Type B pavilions, is the center of attention, with a long line of visitors standing in line throughout the day. As soon as you enter the pavilion, you will feel as if you are preparing for a trip to the Middle East with the explanatory panels and videos introducing Jordan’s tourist attractions. In particular, the scene introducing the ruins of Petra, made famous in the movie “Indiana Jones,” is a point that many visitors are surprisingly moved by.

The attraction is the extraordinary experience of entering the “desert” with bare feet.

In the middle of the tour, visitors enter an area with actual sand on the ground with bare feet. The feeling of the sand is pleasant, and visitors can watch a video showing the landscape of Jordan on the sand. The production that uses both the senses of sight and touch at the same time is unique and cannot be found in any other pavilion.

Souvenirs & Jordanian coffee to top it off!

At the exit, there is a sales corner with Jordanian coffee and miscellaneous goods. The exotic aroma of the coffee is worth trying. This is a good stopover point for coffee lovers.

Hands-on corner on the second floor! Includes tips for making reservations.

On the second floor of the museum, a paid space is available for hand massages and craft experiences. The atmospheric décor and the hands-on experience by craftspeople are so popular that reservations are booked up early in the morning.
Although it is a backdoor technique, many visitors do not go through the exhibition area but just make an appointment ahead of time from the exit side.
The cost of a massage is not so great, however.

The Jordan Pavilion, with its three elements of learning, healing, and experience, is a precious place where you can feel the atmosphere of the Middle East with all five senses.
